Tug's Worldmap
Originally uploaded by Tug.
I came across this nifty little map generator courtesy of my friend and advertising guru Mark Fenske. He has been a lot more places than I have and his map is nearly as blank as mine is. I suspect Hank's will be a little more filled in as will Lizzie's and Paula's and Brad's. But to the rest of us (and them) who only have a little bit of color on this whole big blue marble of ours, I have something to say:

So go somewhere. Do something.
Somewhere warm.
Or cold.
Or sunny.
Or cloudy.
Somwhere with an -ia at the end.
Or a -land.
Or a -slovokia.
Doesn't matter.
Go somewhere you haven't been. See something you haven't seen.

I plan to.
And I plan to show my two boys this map as soon as they are old enough to understand that there's a big world out there that's just waiting to be trodden upon.

So go to the create your own visited countries map site and decide which part of the world gets a red splash first.

I see I got a mention herr McTug and you ought to know I went on this little website and arrived at the same conclusion, I've really been nowhere. Hell, I covered most of the states except for the dirty south and as far as overseas goes I've jaunted around Europe a little bit but I think it's time to really stretch those boundaries. I'm thinking you and I and are EXTENDED families take a big trip to the middle east. With everyone in tow we could tour the lands of ancient persia via a super steel reinfornced Hummer. We could equip all of our family members (even the little ones) with AK 47's. We could bask on the sand, enjoy the sultry sun, eat loads of falafel and sleep in tents. It'll be great and you know what it won't be too expensive, because I hear the gas is much cheaper down there.
So give me a ring you worthless bastard, because at the moment I'm trying to figure out how to salt the rim of my 48 ounce army issue canteen I have filled with strawberry margaritas.

over and out

Hank

So to bring it back around, I think Johney is saying in order to fill out that map, you need to first fill out his app.
